Who does Frosty Drew serve?

Frosty Drew's facilities, the Nature Center, the Observatory and shortly the Sky Theater have always had a single paramount purpose, to make the understanding of the natural appealing, educational and enjoyable. It serves you when you participate.

Participation

Yet Frosty Drew doesn't happen without the participation lots of people - visitors, members children in our naturalist summer programs, children in our school year naturalist programs, volunteers, board members, and our program directors. Who are these people?

Visitors

Simply put, these people are you whether you are children in one of our weekly summer programs or the folks who show up at the Observatory on the Friday nights the sky is clear.

Children

Our activities for children include week long summer programs, school year programs and oh yes no one is more welcome on a Friday night then children.

Volunteers

There are hundreds of tasks that need to be done to keep our facilities and programs up and running. Without volunteers we simply cannot manage. Would you like to help? Are you good at carpentry - our fences need mending. Are you good with your own telescope? We'd love to have you become a semi-regular feature on Friday nights. If you think you might like to help, please contact us.

Board Members

Occasionally you may hear a reference to a Frosty Drew Board Member doing this or that? Who are these mysterious people?
Meet our 2007-2008 Board of Directors.

Program Directors

Our active program directors are Francine Jackson at the Observatory and Cindy Wyatt in the Nature Center. Les Coleman and Jayne Whyte are the past Directors of the Observatory and the Nature Center respectively. They remain active on the Board.
